Mojo Configuration

Location Creation

1. Login to the Mojo cloud-managed dashboard -

2. Select Group name of AP's, and then 'Mojo Wireless Manager' 

3. Select 'Monitoring' and then 'Managed Devices' to view all the AP's to configure. 

4. In the bottom left hand of the screen, select the '+' icon to add a location, create a single location for each venue

5. Set the location type to 'Folder' and input your desired Timezone 

6. Select each AP to Open to edit device properties to rename each AP and edit the location 


Captive Portal (Splash Page) Configuration

1. Select ‘Mojo Wireless Manager’

2. Select ‘Configuration’ > 'Device Configuration' > ‘SSID Profiles’

3. Select ‘Add New Wi-Fi Profile’
4. Enter a ‘Profile Name’, preferred ‘SSID’, click ‘Broadcast SSID’

5. Select ‘Security’

  • Security mode: Open
  • NAS ID: %m-%s
  • Select ‘Client Isolation’

6. Select ‘Network’

  • a) NAT if:
    The Access Point is connected directly to the modem
    Start IP: *can be determined by client
    End IP: *can be determined by client
    Local IP: *can be determined by client
    Subnet: *can be determined by client
    Least Time: 60 Minutes

  • b) Bridged if:
    There is a security appliance or router between the access point and modem

7. Select ‘Captive Portal’

  • Select 'Enable Captive Portal' 
  • Select ‘External Splash Page with RADIUS Authentication’
    - Splash page URL:
    - Shared Secret: *Contact* 
    - Under Walled Garden add the following domains (default ports 80 and 443)

8. Select ‘Captive Portal’ > ‘RADIUS Settings’
*Note be sure to add both RADIUS servers*

  • Called Station Id: %m
  • NAS ID: %m-%s
  • Primary Authentication Server
    Server IP:
    Port Number: 1812
    Shared Secret: Contact
  • Secondary Authentication Server
    Server IP:
    Port Number: 1812
    Shared Secret: *Contact


Analytics Configuration

1. Select ‘Mojo Wireless Manager’

2. Select ‘Configuration’ > 'Device Configuration' > ‘Device Templates’

*Note* Mojo has ‘parent’ and ‘child’ folders. Changes applied to a ‘parent’ folder applies changes to the ‘child’ templates associated with it. If a customer is not doing a full rollout, only select the folders associated with the access points involved in the rollout.

4. Select ‘Add Device Template’

  • If an existing template, other than ‘System Template’ exists, this template can/should be modified
  • Enter a name in ‘Template Name’. Select ‘Device Setting’ > ‘Third Party Analytics Integration’ > ‘Enabled’

6. Enter the following values

  • Visibility Analytics Format: CSV
  • Server URL:
  • Authorization key: Provided by Turnstyle when the list of access point MAC addresses is initially sent
  • Send interval: 1

7. Select 'Radio Settings' > 'Define settings for model' 

8. Choose the model type of your Mojo Router 

9. Under Radio 1 add the SSID profile that was created 

  • Confirm 'Wi-Fi Profiles' is selected
  • Select 'Add SSID Profile' 
  • Add newly created SSID profile 
  • Repeat for Radio 2 

10. Enable Dynamic Channel Selection for each Radio

11. Enable 'Background Scanning' for each Radio

12. Select 'Save' 


1. Once the Device Template & SSID Profile have been set up, return to Mojo Wireless Manager.

2. Select 'Monitoring' > 'Managed Devices'

3. In 'Managed Devices', select all APs by clicking the check box on the left side of the page:

4. At the bottom select 'Upgrade' for all of the APs
